Bart van de goor
Bart van de goor was born June 12, 1979 in the Netherlands. About 10
years ago, he joined an outdoor community theatre group in his home town,
starting with children's plays and later progressing to the adult group
where he performed in many different plays, varying from Shakespeare's
hilarious Taming of the Shrew to a very touching piece about life
during the second world war in the region. He later joined another local
theatre company that played indoors and did more humoristic plays. Outside
companies showed interest and soon he was doing productions outside the
productions in his hometown. Later he auditioned for a short film that was
entered in a regional screenwriters festival. Knowing he wanted to act
professionally, he decided to move to America. Bart finished his full-time
studies at The Lee Strasberg Institute, and now attends part-time
classes there. He has started to put himself out on the market. He did
several film projects and also was Assistant Director in a play, performed
at the Lee Strasberg Institute. This still young actor is extremely
focused and driven and not only dares to have bold dreams, but also
believes in the realization of them.
